Mutinous Wagner warlord Yevgeny Prigozhin isn’t at the moment in Belarus, Belarusian chief Alexander Lukashenko stated Thursday morning.
“As for Yevgeny Prigozhin, he’s in St. Petersburg. The place is he this morning? Perhaps he went to Moscow, perhaps elsewhere, however he’s not on the territory of Belarus,” Lukashenko stated, in keeping with Belarusian state media.
The mercenary chief was purported to be in Belarus, after being exiled from Russia following an aborted mutiny he led towards Moscow’s army institution in June.
Final week, Lukashenko stated Prigozhin had arrived in Belarus.
