Danish teenager Holger Rune beat eighth-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 6-2 within the Paris Masters semifinals on Saturday to remain on target for his first title at this stage.

The 19-year-old Rune will play his first Masters remaining towards both six-time Paris Masters champion Novak Djokovic or fifth-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas. They have been taking part in their semifinal later Saturday.

Rune, who gained each of his profession titles this 12 months, reached his fourth straight remaining of the season.

Contesting his first Masters semifinal, he gained 86% of his factors on first serve and confronted no break factors. He ended Auger-Aliassime’s 16-match profitable run and the 22-year-old Canadian’s bid for a fourth straight title.

Auger-Aliassime beat Rune final Sunday within the Swiss Indoors remaining.

Djokovic is aiming for a record-extending seventh Paris Masters title, a record-extending thirty ninth at Masters stage, a fifth title this season and 91st profession total.

Djokovic is 8-2 towards Tsitsipas and has gained seven straight towards his Greek opponent. The previous three wins have all been in finals — together with a five-set thriller on the 2021 French Open, the place Djokovic rallied from two units down.
