Born on November 6, 1814, Adolphe Sax was a Belgian-French inventor who had a really unlucky childhood. As a toddler he fell three flooring onto a stone pavement, at three years outdated he drank a bowl of diluted acid considering it was milk, was close to a gunpowder explosion, fell right into a frying pan, virtually asphyxiated as soon as, and fell into the river. His neighbours referred to as him ‘little ghost’. He overcame all this to invent an entire new musical instrument when he was 25 years outdated.
