Met Police asks BBC to pause ‘money for pictures’ investigation as personal probe into claims continues

he BBC has introduced the Metropolitan Police has requested it to “pause its investigations” whereas it seems into allegations an unnamed presenter paid a troubled younger individual tens of 1000’s of kilos for sexual photos.

It comes after the BBC’s company investigations group spoke to detectives on Monday.

A BBC spokesperson stated: “Because of this assembly, the BBC has been requested to pause its investigations into the allegations whereas the police scope future work.”
