NEW DELHI: FMCG shares closed larger within the Thursday’s session.

Heritage Meals(up 5.66%), Future Client(up 5.00%), Mrs Bectors Meals Specialities(up 2.53%), Prataap Snacks(up 2.26%), Umang Dairies(up 2.16%), Sheetal Cool Merchandise(up 1.49%), Patanjali Meals(up 1.49%), Dodla Dairy(up 1.38%), Vadilal Industries(up 1.22%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.19%) stood among the many prime gainers.

Dangee Dums(down 3.09%), Euro India Contemporary Meals(down 2.64%), Adani Wilmar(down 2.64%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 2.56%), Tasty Chew Eatables(down 2.32%), Hindustan Meals(down 1.71%), Nakoda Group(down 1.70%), Zydus Wellness(down 1.49%), Emami(down 1.36%) and Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.80%) have been among the many prime losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 35.75 factors up at 18321.15, whereas the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 98.84 factors at 61872.62.

Bajaj Auto(up 2.8%), Bharti Airtel(up 2.66%), Adani Enterprises(up 2.5%), ITC(up 1.76%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.55%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.19%), Eicher Motors(up 1.12%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.07%), Kotak Mahindra Financial institution(up 1.03%) and Britannia Industries(up 0.96%) stood among the many prime gainers within the Nifty pack.

Then again, Wipro(down 1.4%), Tata Motors(down 1.03%), UPL Ltd(down 0.95%), HDFC(down 0.91%), Solar Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.75%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.68%), IndusInd Financial institution(down 0.66%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.65%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.42%) and Coal India(down 0.39%) closed within the crimson.
