Indices: Inventory market replace: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.57%


NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a detrimental be aware on Friday.

Shares of Natco Pharma(up 2.49 per cent), Glaxosmithkline Prescribed drugs(up 2.18 per cent), Glenmark Prescribed drugs(up 1.92 per cent), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.2 per cent) and Abbott India(up 1.08 per cent) ended the day as prime gainers within the pack.

Alternatively, Biocon(down 8.81 per cent), Gland Pharma(down 2.56 per cent), Lupin(down 1.38 per cent), Alkem Laboratories(down 1.32 per cent) and Pfizer(down 1.14 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day.

The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.57 per cent down at 11676.15.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 114.45 factors at 17100.05, whereas the BSE Sensex stood up 355.06 factors at 57989.9.
